In Solidarität mit den protestierenden Schüler*innen
und Studierenden in Frankreich - <br>
Bundesstudierendenvertretung ruft zu
Protesten am 17. November in Deutschland auf!</span></b>

<p>Seit Wochen breiten sich Bildungsproteste in ganz Frankreich aus.
Was als Protest weniger Schulen gegen verfallende Gebäude und
Lehrer*innenmangel begann, hat sich zu einer Protestbewegung der
gesamten Jugend an Schulen, Universitäten und Hochschulen
entwickelt.<br>
<br>
Katharina Rummenhöller, fzs Vorständin, erklärt dazu: „Unsere
uneingeschränkte Solidarität gilt allen Kommiliton*innen,
Schüler*innen und Protestierenden in Frankreich. Ihre Anliegen
sind richtig und dringend: Ratten in Schulgebäuden, stundenlange
Unterrichtsausfälle, auseinanderbröckelnde Lehrgebäude. All das
kennen wir nur zu gut. Die Proteste in Frankreich sind ein Vorbild
für ganz Europa, für alle von Kürzungswahn durchlöcherten
Bildungssysteme. Wir wollen auch hier Protest auf die Straße
tragen und rufen am Internationalen Tag der Studierenden am 17.
November bundesweit zu Protesten auf. Für Studienfinanzierung für
alle, für zeitgemäße Infrastruktur, gegen die Wohnungskrise und
die Bedrohung der akademischen Freiheiten durch die Rechte“<br>
<br>
Vorstandsmitglied Jo Dietze ergänzt: „Die rechtsliberale Regierung
Macrons kennt als Antwort auf ihr eigenes Versagen bisher nur
unvorstellbare Gewalt. Die französische Polizei zeigt derweil ihr
wahres Gesicht und fordert, weiter Gasgranaten gegen Kinder und
Jugendliche einsetzen zu dürfen, nachdem bereits mehrere
Minderjährige verstümmelt wurden. Es ist keine normale,
demokratische oder irgendwie akzeptable Reaktion, mit
Gummigeschossen und Tränengas gegen Bildungsproteste vorzugehen.
Wir fordern die Bundesregierung auf, ihren engen Partner
Frankreich sofort zur Einhaltung von Menschenrechten und dem
Schutz des Versammlungsrechts zu drängen.“<br>
<br>
Der freie zusammenschluss von student*innenschaften (fzs) e.V.,
die bundesweite Studierendenvertretung, solidarisiert sich mit den
Bildungsprotesten in Frankreich.<br>
Der fzs ruft für den 17. November zu einem dezentralen,
bundesweiten Protesttag auf. An diesem Tag wollen wir in erster
Linie für ein ganz neues BAföG-System protestieren, dass allen die
Bildung ihrer Wahl ohne Sorgen ermöglicht. Damit verbunden ist der
Protest gegen die bundesweite Wohnungskrise und die Aushöhlung
unseres Bildungssystems durch andauernde Unterfinanzierung.<br>
