sich gemeinsam mit den Juso-Hochschulgruppen, sowie Campusgrün zum
heutigen Gespräch zwischen Staatssekretär Dr. Roland Philippi und
studentischen Vertreter*innen. <br>

<p><b>Pressemitteilung: Zeit, dass auch gehandelt wird -
Bildungsministerium muss Konsequenzen aus dem Austausch mit
studentischen Vertreter*innen ziehen </b><br>
</p>
<p>Heute, am 07.10.2024, fand ein Austausch zwischen Vertreter*innen
studentischer Verbände und dem Staatssekretär Dr. Roland Philippi
im Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF) statt. In
diesem ging es unter anderem um die Leistbarkeit von studentischem
Engagement, Probleme beim BAföG und Antisemitismus an Hochschulen.

Lisa Heidenreich, Mitglied im Bundesvorstand der
Juso-Hochschulgruppen, erklärt: „Wir begrüßen die Möglichkeit zum
Austausch mit dem Bildungsministerium. Dem Austausch müssen jetzt
aber auch Konsequenzen folgen. Denn Studierende begegnen in ihrem
Alltag vielfältigen Problemen: unflexiblen Studienregelungen,
prekären Arbeitsbedingungen und struktureller Diskriminierung an
Hochschulen."<br>

"Über drei Viertel der allein- oder in WGs lebenden Studierenden
sind armutsgefährdet! Da ist es wenig verwunderlich, dass es immer
weniger Studierende gibt, die sich engagieren, denn ein Ehrenamt
muss man sich schließlich erstmal leisten können. Um dem
entgegenzuwirken, braucht es ein flexibles BAföG für Alle mit
ausreichenden Bedarfssätzen frei von Verschuldung," ergänzt Janna
Reif, Bundessprecherin von Campusgrün. <br>

Emmi Kraft aus dem Vorstand des freien zusammenschluss' von
student*innenschaften fügt hinzu: "Gerade am heutigen Jahrestag
des Massakers der Hamas müssen wir über Antisemitismus in
Deutschland reden. Insbesondere an Hochschulen erleben wir einen
erschreckenden Antisemitismus, dem teilweise mit
Islamfeindlichkeit und Rassimus begegnet wird. Wir müssen dafür
sorgen, dass der Campus ein sicherer Ort für alle Studierenden
ist: Dafür braucht es geschulte und senisibilisierte Anlaufstellen
sowie nachhaltige und proaktive Strategien zur Bekämpfung und
Prävention. Was nicht hilft, sind wahllose Repression und
politisch motivierte Einschränkungen der Wissenschaftsfreiheit." <br>
<br>
An dem Treffen nahm auch die sogenannte "Arbeitsgemeinschaft
katholischer Studentenverbände" teil, ein Zusammenschluss mehrerer
katholischer Studentenverbindungsverbände, in dem auch der Ring
Katholischer Deutscher Burschenschaften Mitglied ist. fzs,
Campusgrün und Juso-Hochschulgruppen kritisieren, dass eine
Organisation ins BMBF eingeladen wird, die elitäre,
männerbündische, autoritär strukturierte Gruppen ohne
demokratischen Anspruch oder Legitimation vertritt.<br>
